I didn't get to play the double rep weekend for 2 reasons: I was grounded, and then I don't have GW:EN. I'm getting it for Christmas though

It was awesome, I had a TON of fun playing in HM with heroes/henchies (I hadn't tried HM on any of the other campaigns so it was all new to me), vanquished 3 areas, got a lot of rep, and a large number of golds with a fair number of nice skins. Overall a very enjoyable experience, and actually more fun for me than the rest of the GW:EN campaign.

I hope they add another double rep weekend again before too long.

vanquished 5 of the 6 norn areas got up to level 9, then did all the hero book missions in hm and cahed in for asuran rep and got it up to rank 9

didnt do many other areas and just did one dungeon, Snowmen lol

ebon is still pretty poor showing on level 5, dwarf is one level 7, so going to do slavers exile next then cash in my normal mode dungeon book

got my house cleaned up pretty well....in game, well did some quests in eotn, however the toons that need the points for the armor already had done all the quests and didnt get much more (still need 4000xp for the norn on my ele), after playing with frostmaw for over an hour I kinda got discouraged (killed it though and got another onyx gem and a lockpick which broke on the chest by the dead frostmaw and only gave me a cheap grape! ) and took a long break (nap) then went back to cleaning my house .

my paragon got masters on dzagonur bastion!

so not so good in game.

Well, my Rit went from r0 Asura to r5 just by doing the Asura storyline and a couple of quests, my Assassin went from r3 Vanguard to r5 by doing the quests in the area, and my Dervish went from r0 to r4 by doing the storyline and a couple of quests, and by my judgement should have r5 by the time he finishes the Ebon Vanguard quests.

Those, plus the Mesmer who already has access, were the ones I really wanted armour access for, so now I just need to get the materials and stuff together. Of course, now the Ritualist isn't going to be farming krait skins to get more scales for the Assassin...

With the improvement of the books, I think they've got things about right with armour access - once you've killed the Great Destroyer, you should have access to at least one of the armours. I still consider the mechanical advantage for titles to be a bad thing, but I think the armour access is certainly reasonable now.

I managed to log on for a couple of minutes.

I also thought about buying GW:EN. Quite progressive of me, I thought.

I missed out on all but 1 hour of it. However everyone in my guild was very happy with it. I for one am very happy with the HM activation and my Minis getting fixed. so Yea I'm happy even though I didnt get to get the other bonues. Those were defiantly worth it for me...

As to why? well as normal Real life has to take precedence, and I have someone special to me that needed some time. And this weekend was it. So bad timing I guess but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I had a great weekend, myself. Played my Ranger through many quests, reaped the rich rewards, was heard rallying (nagging?) my team with "Double double points, gogogogo!" many times.

Funny Gaile funny.

Anyways Did a couple missions on HM about 5 total couldnt really do anymore since I had a near constant ping at 1500 all weekend. So I went soloing a few places instead. On these 5 missions on HM I got a total of around 1.5k in drops. Yeap reapped the riches in there.

I ground rank 9 Asura by vanquishing Magus Stones about 4 times. The last of my points will come from finishing hard mode books; it's safe to say I won't be grinding hard mode in the foreseeable future.

Good weekend though.

This was without doube the best (normal) weekend event ever. I've been grinding like a madman and was able to max both the Deldrimor as the Vanguard title tracks. The double points gave me as player the 'morale boost' I needed to push through the quite boring work I needed to do to get r3 of KoaBD.

Finally.
